What is it about image?
Why do we place so much importance on it?

Your image is the initial impression you make before you have a chance to express yourself vocally.  This is made up of the perception that others have formed about you and the impact you make on them.  All of which takes place before you open your mouth!

  • Ninety per cent of people will form an opinion of you within the first 40 seconds of meeting you.
  • In an interview situation, you will be virtually fully judged within the first 4 minutes.

Research has shown those visual images are vital. The impact we make on other people measured as follows:

  • 55%    on how you look and behave
  • 38%    on how we sound – pitch, pace and tempo
  • 7%      on what we actually say

Our Image is a visual communication that determines how others see us.  Our style represents the way we dress and reflects our personality.  When we portray our desired image and style, that boosts our self-esteem.  Moreover, that it will improve poise and therefore our body language will be more natural and attractive. Your self confidence will make your spoken word more effective.

Believe in yourself
We believe in you and we don't even know you! We believe in the ability of every individual human being to improve any part of their lives.

"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve"  – Napoleon Hill, 'Think and Grow Rich'

Life is about choices and you have the ability to improve every part of your life. So start with the outside.  Feeling good about how you look is a good place to start.  Then we will teach you skills to dress from the inside out. This way you will no-longer worry whether you are making an amazing first impression, because you’ll know that you are!  This opens you up to dress from your truth.

What you wear communicates your message and informs others how to treat you – more importantly, how you want to be treated.

Looking good and feeling good about you is self-perpetuating.

If you look in the mirror and feel good about your appearance, it will immediately boost your confidence and self-worth. This will make you project in a positive way.  In addition, people around you will react positively towards you!  We all respond much better to people who are positive than those who are negative.

Being appropriate is, above all things, the way to be – knowing the level of dress that is most suitable for your profession or industry, your position, the business occasion or presentation platform.  Being appropriate and stylishly dressed is the message you will communicate and this will, more than likely, meet automatically with acceptance as the whole package of who you are is more believable.

It is the first step to gaining creditability and portrays a professional image. When you have gained the knowledge of your personal style and understand which colours complement you best, you are in a position to control the opinions of others.

Your choice of colours strongly affect the overall impression you make on others. More specifically, colours have been shown to affect how professional people are judged – so the colours you wear should be indicative of your level of professionalism and sophistication and be appropriate for the occasion,

Everyone can wear virtually every colour;.  However, it is the correct hue, tone, tint or shade of the colour which makes the difference. Why not take the time to find out which ones would make a difference to your life?
